KSBA desires to have a Christian academy that is committed to a full range of education, centered on the truth of Gods' Word. Today's public school system often falls short in properly educating children in relation to history and science. Often is the case that many people like Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield are left out of historical discussions. Furthermore, when it comes to science - evolution is usually taught as if it is a verifiable fact while creation is never mentioned. KSBA is committed to providing students with a Christ-centered education. Southern Baptists could have the best evangelistic tool for Christ of any Christian organization, if they really understood the importance of raising Kingdom kids. We could be the New Public School. Imagine what we could do if instead of sending our children to the world to be trained, the world sent their children to Southern Baptists Schools to be trained. Many leaders of the SBC have said that VBS is the best evangelistic out-reach tool we have ever had. What if instead of one week of VBS we have thirty six weeks of teaching children about Christ, while teaching them math, science, lanaguage arts, history and life.
Kingdom SBA wants to be committed to being a unified Christian academy. In order to accomplish this, Kingdom SBA will require all faculty to embrace a set of core doctrinal statements. What if the government decided to tell every teacher that they had to teach that there was "no God", would that make them support Southern Baptist Schools? I had a Headmaster of a large Christian School tell me "if Southern Baptists ever get there head screwed on right in relation to Christian School and start to believe in them they would blow the doors off the Christian school market and put all to shame".
